Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using ContentMate ("the Service") operated by ContentMate ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ContentMate is a software-as-a-service platform that provides AI-assisted content marketing tools including article generation, social media scheduling, SEO analysis, website publishing, review management, and outreach capabilities. Access is provided on a subscription basis.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@contentmate.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that show signs of compromise or misuse.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. We may change trial duration at any time for new sign-ups.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are listed at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We use Stripe to process payments; your payment details are held by Stripe and governed by their privacy policy.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and may suspend access until the outstanding amount is resolved. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing on 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

The Service uses large language models to generate text, images, and other content. You acknowledge that:
You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs and data through AI models solely to deliver the Service to you.
The Service integrates with third-party platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others). Use of these integrations is subject to the respective platforms' terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party platforms.
All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Service (excluding your content) remain our exclusive property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited licence to use the Service during your subscription.
Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We aim to provide a highly available service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or emergency work that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ContentMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContentMate and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your workspace. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, after which it cannot be recovered.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
