The problem this solves

Reviews are one of the most powerful conversion signals a local business has — 93% of customers read them before choosing. But asking for reviews feels awkward, replying to all of them takes time, and most businesses let weeks pass before a response goes up. Competitors with more (and better-managed) reviews win the business.

How it works

Review Management, in detail

30-second request flow

Send review requests with one click

Add a customer's email address, and ContentMate sends a personalised review request with a direct link to your star rating form. The form is simple, mobile-friendly, and branded. No app download, no account needed for the customer.

Brand-voice matched replies

AI replies in your brand voice

When a review comes in, ContentMate drafts a reply using your trained brand voice — specific to the rating, the content of the review, and your business context. 5-star reviews get warm, genuine responses. Lower-rated reviews get professional, empathetic ones.

Direct Google posting

One click to post straight to Google

"AI Reply & Post" generates a reply and publishes it to your Google Business Profile immediately — no preview step needed for teams that trust their brand voice. Or use the two-step flow: draft, review, then post.

Bulk reply in minutes

Bulk reply — clear your backlog fast

Behind on replies? Select your unanswered reviews, click "Draft replies for selected", and ContentMate queues AI drafts for all of them simultaneously. Review and post each one, or use the one-step flow to clear the backlog in minutes.

Nothing falls through cracks

Reply status at a glance

Every review in your dashboard shows a status icon: posted, drafted, or no reply yet. You can see at a glance what needs attention — no hunting through the table to find unanswered reviews.

Questions

Frequently asked

Does ContentMate post replies directly to Google?

Yes. Once your Google Business Profile is connected, ContentMate can post replies directly using the Google Business Profile API. The reply appears on your Google listing, attributed to your business — exactly as if you'd replied through Google's own interface.

What stops the AI from saying something inappropriate?

ContentMate generates replies using your brand voice profile, so the tone is consistent with how you communicate. All replies go through a review step by default — you read them before they go live. The one-step "AI Reply & Post" is an opt-in shortcut for teams who trust their setup.

Can I customise what the review request email says?

The email template uses your brand name and a personalised greeting. Full template customisation (for Growth and above) lets you edit the subject line and body copy to match your exact voice.

Does this work for Trustpilot or other review platforms?

Review requests via ContentMate direct customers to your own review form. You can configure where that feedback is surfaced — Google review links and Trustpilot URLs are both configurable in team settings.
